Our weekend consisted of riding our bikes for 28 miles on Saturday along the Spokane River. I had an interesting thing happen to me along the way, a bee made it's way inside one of my socks and stung me twice on the left ankle. OUCH!!! This is something that I didn't think would happen but always remember to be prepared for anything. FYI- Keep some sting relief ointment in your bike pouch.
Saturday evening we went to the Kootenai Fairgrounds and met up w/ John, Cindy, Hunter & Joe. Aaron and I enjoy seeing the animals. Of course, some of the carnival food is always a plus....funnel cakes, chocolate covered strawberry kabobs, elephant ears, etc. YUM YUM!!!
