For Cindy's 40th Birthday, we went out to eat at the Melting Pot (fondue restaurant). It was a fun experience for the four of us to enjoy together. The meal was split into courses. First course was a cheese blend sauce that had various dipping choices: apples, bread, veggies, etc. The main course: shrimp, steak, chicken, fresh sushi grade tuna, potatoes, cauliflower & pot stickers. Each item was boiled in the seasoned broth that was in the middle of your table (fondue style cooking). The last course was the dessert which was a combination of blended chocolates. Our variety tasted like snickers. YUMMY!!!!
It was an enjoyable evening until Aaron woke up around 1:00a.m. barely able to breathe. He was having an allergic reaction to either shrimp/fresh tuna that we ate earlier that evening. After a visit to the ER, some IV meds, & breathing treatment "Big A" is back to normal. However, we are now proud owners of a Epinephrine Pen Injector for Allergy Emergencies. :)
Never a dull moment in the Leyendecker household!!!!
