We also broke up my training a little bit and I used kettle bells for the first time ever. This was a very challenging experience but I really enjoyed doing something different. It also helped decrease my cardio workout from 60min to 30min on the step mill.
My pics: Not the best but I have to do the before and after to show progress. I am only flexing muscles in the obvious pic and the rest I just look plain tired. My belly looks bloated from all of the water that I have been having to drink (1 gal per day-ugh) and the rest of my body is working on adding muscle tone.
Today was my cheat day (mentally & physically) for the week. Yaay for pizza & ice cream today!!!! I have been counting down to this day since Thursday. I'm not sure why I struggled mentally so much on Thursday, but everything that I had to eat/drink wasn't appealing at all. I was cranky & irritable which made for a very long day. Once I got to the gym, I was actually relieved to take out my frustration on my workout.
